This is amazing, I have been suffering from a frozen shoulder for a long time, had it for 3 years in my right arm and now I have had it for 6 months in my left arm (after having surgery in my right arm to repair it).

Anyway a man, Wim Hof has used *(his technique) this method to do the things he does, I tried it properly today.

My arm movement is about 20% normal, if I go much beyond my limitations I am in such excruciating pain that I have collapsed to the floor with it. (A reflex reach to catch my cue while playing pool caused me to collapse on the floor in pain).

My left shoulder hurts bad if just reaching to pick something up from the passenger seat of my car, let alone reaching into the footwell for something.

Today I did 2 stages of his technique, first time I held my breath for 2 minutes, second time I held my breath for over 3 minutes.

I then tested my arm and was amazed that I had a major reduction in pain and I could push my arm to beyond all limits, still now an hour later I have no issues with pain, all the pain I feel is manageable, I would say maybe 5% of the original pain.

I plan on using this every day until I can get back 90% movement in my arm.

Wim recommends doing this first thing in the morning and on an empty stomach.

Breathing Techniques.

Round 1.

Relax.
Deep breathe in fully and let go - 30-40 times or until you feel tingly or light headed.
Fully breathe in and hold for as long as you can (about a minute on first attempt)
Fully Breathe out and hold for 10-15 seconds.

Start round 2.
30 - 40 deep breaths
Hold for longer than a minute
Same as round 1

Round 3 repeat and try and hold longer
